The Walk Thru Prayer (WTP) and Drive Thru Prayer (DTP) vision is one WTP/DTP site for every 10,000 people worldwide. This means that by 2050 we envision 800,000 WTP/DTP sites globally!  At that point, the WTP/DTP Prayer Warriors will be praying for 400 million people every year. By 2070 our goal is to specifically pray for every single person on the planet at least once!

This ministry is about introducing our problems to God's power through fervent and sincere prayer. Roughly 80% of people who stop by for prayer are unchurched. This is a great way to reach your community for Christ!

We started this ministry after the Lord did an incredible work in our church family in the area of prayer. Prayer went from being one ministry among many to becoming part of the very fabric of every ministry.

 

While our pastor, Dr. Philip Calvert, has had a vision for a parking lot prayer ministry since 2016, it was not until 2022 that the Lord unleashed it's full potential by bringing together passionate ministry leaders and volunteers from across the spectrum of Trinity’s congregation, as well as several other Bible-believing churches.

 

Every Wednesday morning we begin with prayer in our Fellowship Hall at 6 a.m. and have WTP/DTP in our parking lot from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. We also have WTP/DTP every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. 

 

We average 10 to 12 volunteers each week, and the requests that people stop by to ask us to pray for are urgent and immediate.

Casa Grande/Eloy host WTP/DTP on Monday through Saturday at area churches that are part of the ministry family. Moreover, we have churches in Mexico, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington are among the growing WTP/DTP Network! We have also recently expanded into South America, with Ecuador launching its first sites. We also have plans to launch Walk Thru Prayer in Nepal! In fact, if you look closely at the tallest mountain in the Walk Thru Prayer logo, you'll notice that it resembles the peak of Mt. Everest.

 

What we have learned is that you can give someone food from your pantry, and you can give someone shoes from your closet, but only God can answer prayer.

 

We are so blessed to meet people right where they are at and introduce them to the power of the Lord God Almighty. Through answered prayer people can meet Jesus in a way that will change their life and their eternity.

Imagine what the Lord would do if thousands of churches across the country offered WTP/DTP in their local communities!
