The whosoevers of John 3:16 in an increasingly unchurched world are increasingly less likely to enter a church building...but they do pass by every day. On foot or by car, they are going right by your building with no thought whatsoever of visiting it. Yet, the challenges of life are no less urgent than had they rushed headlong through the church’s doors in search of answers to their most pressing questions.

If the whosoevers are outside of the building, where are the Christians to be found? Bunkered and hunkered inside their building! So how can the Lost experience the love of God as expressed in John 3:16? ​The most effective way followers of Jesus Christ can demonstrate to the Lost that the church is the people and not the building, and that Christians truly believe John 3:16, is to joyfully get out of the building and pray for those standing in its shadows.

The foundation of Drive Thru Prayer is the supernatural movement of God. Prayer is one of the few things believers can do that is beyond their ability to fully understand, beyond their capacity to intervene, and beyond their neighborly zeal to do. The Kingdom impact of prayer extends beyond the moment the words were uttered. Your most fervent prayer can be a most worthy throne for the working of the Holy Spirit in and through you. What God does when you have prayed, prepared, and positioned yourself for Him to move is nothing short of miraculous. Thus, your faith is the foundation of your prayer life. It’s better to believe and pray with great expectation than to demand God show you the receipts before you’ll accept the relationship. Trust God and watch Him move. That’s what prayer is all about.
